Spring Hike

Spring Hike

Corbett's Glen Nature ParkRochester, NY
Saturday, Apr 25 from 10:30 am to 12 pm
Overview

Embrace the great outdoors with friends, a hike, and fresh air.

OUR FIRST ROC WELNESS INSIDERS EVENT

We’re taking the fun to one of Rochester’s hidden gems, Corbett’s Glen.

The hike will be about an hour with a brief forest bathing breathwork experience. We’ll see rolling glacial moraines, serene wetlands, mixed woodlands, and abundant wildlife. We’ll follow the winding path of Allens Creek as it carves through glacial formations and cascades over several small but scenic waterfalls. Corbett’s Glen is the perfect setting for a spring hike.

This hike is rated easy to intermediate with some steep spots.

Save your spot. Free to attend.
Each attendee must register individually — one per person.

Dominic Piacentini of R4 Wellness and Consulting will guide us through a brief mindfulness session, focusing on intentional moments of breathwork and meditation. If you are new to these techniques, it’s a great chance to try something different and experience the benefits to your body and mind.

What to Bring: Wear hiking boots and bring plenty of water.

Parking/Location: We’ll be meeting at the supplemental parking area for Corbett’s Glen at Indian Landing Elementary School.
🚶 Trailhead Start: Penfield Rd. lot (very small, so we’re meeting at the school and walking in). From the school lot, we’ll walk along Forest Hills Drive to reach the trailhead. If you arrive late, walk along Forest Hills Drive until it dead-ends at the Penfield Rd. trailhead.

Embrace the great outdoors with friends, a hike, and fresh air.
