Spring Garden Planning Workshop

The Chattery cultivates and fosters a community of learners and teachers through fun, affordable and accessible learning experiences throughout Chattanooga.As a nonprofit, The Chattery brings an unlimited variety of classes to our community ranging from the arts to financial planning.  We not only serve as ambassadors who bring awesome classes and workshops to Chattanooga but we’re also helping cultivate and encourage your passions.In other words, our classes are dreamt up and taught by you, a member of our community.All classes are for adults aged 18 and up unless otherwise noted.

The Chattery

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a total beginner, this workshop will give you the tools and know-how to create the garden you’ve always wanted.- You’ll learn how to evaluate and set up your garden space for a season of abundance.- We’ll talk through key factors that will help your raised bed garden thrive.- You’ll leave knowing exactly what to plant, where, and when, so you can enjoy fresh produce all year long!About the teacher:Umbel Gardens is proud to be a women owned business. Owner, Katie Hinson, is a certified Landscape Horticulturist, a Northwest Flower and Garden Show Gold Medal Garden Creator, and a certified Hamilton County Master Gardener. The goal of Umbel Gardens is to inspire and educate Chattanoogans to grow fresh produce in their own backyards by designing and teaching clients how to care for their raised bed kitchen gardens. Growing organically and eating seasonally has a positive impact on mental health, the environment, and community.
