The mission of Oak Park Sol is to support residents to improve neighborhood spaces, community health, and social connectivity.We believe that solutions to neighborhood-level problems already exist within the individuals, relationships, institutions, and built environment that make up the community and our role as an organization is to support and mobilize neighborhood-level actions that benefit all residents and improve the places we all share.

We will be hosting a drawing featuring prizes and goodies from local businesses, and lawn games galore. Oak Park Sol and Alchemist CDC are committed to activating and supporting residents with the funds raised from this event. Can't wait to see you there!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Event open to all ages, must be 21 or older to consume beer and wine. Children under 10 may attend at no cost but will not recieve food and beverage tickets.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free parking on site.
What can I bring into the event?
Feel free to bring a blanket, your dancing shoes, and a well-behaved dog if you have one.
What does my ticket cost support?
Oak Park Sol is a non-profit urban community land trust that supports resident leaders and acquires, stewards, and develops community spaces that meet the needs of all residents. We believe that neighborhood-level actions and solutions are keystones to a healthy community, so we use a project-based approach to inspire meaningful and productive communication, support shared learning, and develop functional social networks. Alchemist CDC is nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Sacramento area residents in their efforts to create vibrant, equitable, healthy and diverse communities. Funds raised at this event will support:

<LI>Resident-led community projects: Broadway Sol Community Garden, 34th Street Offramp Beautfication, 14th and MLK Jr. Blvd, Pansy Community Park and Garden</LI>
<LI>Resident activation and skill building: Neighborhood Activation Fund, Resident Activation Acadamy</LI>
<LI>Healthy shopping on a budget store tours with neighborhood residents ito introduce them to the healthy options at retail sites and bridge any cultural barriers which may prevent them from accessing healthy food options.</LI>
