Spring Fling

The Greater Ridgewood Historical Society was established in 1975 by a group of local residents to prevent the demolition of the Vander Ende-Onderdonk House. From 1975 until 1981, the GRHS raised funds to reconstruct the house which had been seriously damaged by fire, and in 1976, published a history of the greater Ridgewood area, entitled Our Community, Its History and People. With the help of Federal, State and local funds, the Onderdonk House was opened to the public in 1982.

The Vander Ende-Onderdonk House

<h1>Spring Fling</h1>Celebrate Spring with the whole family at the historic Vander Ende-Onderdonk House Museum in Ridgewood, Queens. We’ll be exploring nature and history with a scavenger hunt, planting sunflowers (that you can take home!), making paper flowers, and playing games! You can also tour our gardens, view special outdoor exhibits, browse educational stations in our mini environmental info fair, and MORE! There will be food and drink available to purchase, courtesy of the Maspeth Kiwanis. The event will be held primarily outdoors on the Museum’s grounds and under the tent, please see our <a href="https://onderdonkhouse.org/contact" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">website</a> for directions.<h3>Admission: </h3>$10 for General Admission (Ages 12 &amp; Up); $5 for Children (Ages 3-11); FREE for Babies &amp; Toddlers (Ages 2 and Under).

Refund Policy: All refunds requested more than 48 hours (2 days) before the event will be granted. Refunds requested less than 48 hours in advance of the event will be granted on a case by case basis. Refunds requested the day of the event will NOT be accepted.
