Spring Ephemerals

Spring Ephemerals

West Scio PreserveAnn Arbor, MI
Thursday, Apr 23 from 10 am to 12 pm
Overview

The snow is gone, but trees haven't grown... No worries, our spring ephemerals are here to give the forest life. Come learn more about them!

Spring epherals are early blooming plants that come out early before retreating underground for the remainder of the year. They thrive just after snowmelt and before leaves grow on trees, providing a short growth window.

Come join us on a hike and learn about these unique plants!

We encourage participants to dress for the weather and wear shoes that can get muddy!
