Join us for a springtime performance with The Bridge Music Collective! The collective is a chamber ensemble composed of oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, and double bass.
The concert will feature dance music spanning from the early 1900’s all the way to the present day. The collective welcomes movement, laughter, outbursts, and clapping. This is a celebration of movement and reawakening as spring comes to an end, inviting the warmer months of summer. Come dance with us as we explore the rhythms of clave, tango, and bell patterns in an intimate, cozy setting. Refreshments and good company provided. A 30 minute intermission breaks up the performance into 2 acts.
The Bridge Music Collective was formed at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for eclectic chamber instrument pairings. The SF Commons is a community and third space rekindling intellectual curiosity, co-created play, & inner-exploration, in the heart of San Francisco.
