Do I need to donate clothing to participate?

Accepted Answer

No! Anyone is welcome to come. If you have nothing to donate, still come to the event to take home some clothing for free.

How do I donate clothing?

Accepted Answer

Between March 9 and 23, 2026, you can drop off your gently used and washed donations in bags to the red deck at 22 Veevers Drive. It is off of ambrose avenue. We do not accept books, toys, water bottles, and other non-clothing items. Accessories and costumes are permitted.

Do I need to pay to take clothes?

Accepted Answer

NO! Attending this event and taking clothing home is totally free. That being said, we will gladly take donations from anyone in a position to support us and the recommended donation for those in the position to donate is $5

Question 4

Can I bring my donations in on the swap day?

Accepted Answer

No, please do NOT bring your donations on the swap day. Everything gets organized days in advance, and we have hundreds of clothes to go through. Last minute donations will be turned away at the door.

Question 5

How many clothes can I take?

Accepted Answer

You are welcome to take as many clothes as you will reasonably need/use within your family. Please do not take clothing with the intention to resell things, many people use clothing swaps as an opportunity to save money and provide clothing for their families.

What do you not accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept: clothing and accessories for all ages and genders, including maternity wear, uniforms, formal wear, baby clothing, accessories, bags, shoes, costumes, etc.                                 We do not accept: books, toys, consumable products (candles, food, etc.), towels, etc.

Question 7

Is there anything else I should consider?

Accepted Answer

Please DO NOT donate your clothing if you have a pest infestation in your place of residence including bed bugs and/or cockroaches. We do not want to risk having these pests spread to our building. Please DO NOT donate clothing which has been stained with bodily fluids, even if it has been washed.
