All volunteers are invited to the Cumberland Falls Visitor’s Center / Gift Shop to enjoy a free lunch. All volunteers will be entered in a drawing for door prizes.

Volunteers will pick up litter along Hwy. 90 and other roads near Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. Kid-friendly cleanup spots will be available. All volunteers will enjoy a free lunch and be entered in a drawing for door prizes.

Pre-Registration:

If possible, please pre-register before April 26. That way, you can complete your Waiver Form in advance, and we can plan our cleanup supplies. (However, if you don't pre-register, you are welcome to register at either Volunteer Station on April 26.)

To get started, choose the number of volunteers in your group and then click the "Reserve a spot" button. You will be asked how many adults and minors will be in your group. You will receive an e-ticket via email from Eventbrite AND an email from clackey@twc.com with your Waiver Form attached. All volunteers must sign a Waiver Form and turn it in on April 26 at the Volunteer Station.

Volunteer Stations:

The pre-registration form asks which Volunteer Station you prefer to start at:

  1. McCreary County Volunteer Station - Christian Appalachian Project Eagle Community Center, 100 Eagle School Road (You will clean in McCreary County.)
  2. Cumberland Falls Volunteer Station - Visitor's Center / Gift Shop (You will clean in either McCreary County or Whitley County.)

Awards:

$100 cash awards will be given to the McCreary County Community Group and Whitley County Community Group that bring the most volunteers. Also, the Volunteer Cup trophy will be presented to the county that recruits the most volunteers.

Attire:

All volunteers should dress appropriately for working outdoors in the weather that morning. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Event organizers will provide disposable gloves and safety vests.
