🌳 Help Us Prepare for the "March to 250!"

The Rising Sun Inn is embarking on a historic grounds transformation, and we need your hands to help us bring history back to life! As we countdown to the 250th anniversary of our nation, we are restoring our landscape to its Revolutionary War-era roots.

Over the next three months, we will be planting native trees and flora that would have been familiar to the patriots of the 1770s. But first, we need a clean slate—and that’s where you come in.

🗓️ Event Details

• The Mission: General yard cleanup and grounds preparation.
• Location: The Grounds of the Rising Sun Inn.
• The Perks: We’ll keep you fueled with fresh donuts, coffee, tea, and water!

🛠️ What to Bring

To ensure we’re ready for the heavy lifting, please bring your own:

• Work Gloves
• Rakes
• Small Hand Tools (clippers, trowels, etc.)

🎓 Students & Organizations

Looking to give back? We provide official service hour sign-offs for students and community organizations. It’s a fantastic way to earn your hours while preserving local history and supporting environmental restoration.
