Corn Hole Tournament

Come join us at Ardmore Baptist Church for a fun-filled Corn Hole Tournament! Grab a partner and show off your tossing skills at this exciting event. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, everyone is welcome to participate. All ages are welcome and invited to enter a team (children through adults). The tournament will be held at 501 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, NC, USA. Don't miss out on this chance to enjoy some friendly competition, with cash prizes for the top 2 teams. All proceeds from the tournament and any donations will go to The Baptist Retirement Homes Foundation. Whether you plan on entering a team, watching some cornhole, or coming to simply enjoy being with other people we welcome you. See you there!

Is there a cost to eat during the event?

Dinner will be provided to all attendees at no cost.

How will the tournament be run?

The tournament will be single elimination. All teams need to be registered ahead of time. Team will be drawn randomly and placed into the bracket.

Is there a children's divison?

Yes. There is a children's division for the cornhole tournament. The children's division is 5 years old through 11 years old.

What cornhole rules will be followed?

The cornhole boards placed 27 feet apart from front edge to front edge. The kids division will be 13 feet apart. Players alternate turns tossing their cornhole bags toward the opposite board. After each team has pitched four bags, players take score, and resume pitching to the opposite board.

What is the scoring style for this cornhole tournament?

A cornhole bag that goes through the hole is worth 3 points. A cornhole bag that lands on the board and stays there is worth 1 point. A cornhole bag that lands on the ground or bounces onto the board is worth 0 points. Cancellation Scoring: Only one team can score points per inning.

What is the winning score?

The first team to reach or exceed 21 points at the conclusion of an inning is the winner. This is to help keep the tournament moving and finish in our allotted timeframe.

Where are the cornhole rules coming from?

We are abiding by the American Cornhole Association's rules and scoring.

What's the cost for the tournament?

Each team's entry fee is $20. There is no entry fee for the children's division. Anyone 12 years old and older will play in the main division and requires the $20 team entry fee.

Who is the tournament and event open to?

The cornhole tournament is open to anyone in the Ardmore Neighborhood and Winston-Salem area.

Is the event outdoors or indoors?

The cornhole tournament will be indoors. Tournament participants will have to adjust to the ceiling height. The food will be served inside but seating will be available both inside and outside.

What time should cornhole teams arrive?

We ask that all participating teams arrive and check in by 3:45pm. This will allow teams to know their matchup and where they are playing. Early check in will then help the matches start on time.
