Spring Ceilidh

Avenue Primary SchoolLeicester, England
Saturday, Mar 21 from 5 pm to 7 pm
Overview

A community dance to celebrate the start of spring!

A ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee) is a traditional Scottish or Irish event and involves lively group dancing and a live folk band (Greenshoots Ceilidh Band).

You don’t need any experience, a partner or an ability to dance - a ‘caller’ will guide us all through the steps.

Suitable for all ages. Children attending need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

There will be a bar and food available with vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten free options.

This event is part of the Clarendon Park Community Spring Celebration 2026.
