Welcome to our Spring Candle-Making Class!
Come join us at Scripted Fragrance for a hands-on experience in creating two (2) 8oz soy candles. Our expert candle artisans will guide you through the process, from selecting the perfect scents to pouring the wax and adding the finishing touches.
First, you will hand-pour your very own 8oz jar candle and select a label design you love. We will guide you through the process of wicking, measuring, and pouring your own candle. Next, you will use your newly acquired skills to pair a fragrance with our Spring-themed Reusable Rocks Glass Candle that doubles as a drinking glass!
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned candle maker, this class is perfect for anyone looking to learn a new skill or simply enjoy a fun and relaxing activity. Please note, we want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome. If you are unable to sit on a high stool, please let us know in advance — we’re happy to provide alternative seating accommodations.

You will also have the opportunity to shop our retail store and enjoy an exclusive discount of 20% off all in-store purchases during your workshop!
Please note, your candles will need to cure for at least 24 hours and therefore are not available to take home the same day. Candles will be available for pickup during normal business hours, M-F 9:00am-5:30pm & Saturday 12pm-4pm. We will hold them for two weeks after your workshop date or they can be shipped directly to you for a flat rate of $10 in the lower 48. Additional sets of candles can be shipped for just $2 per set to the same address.
Each participant requires a ticket. We're not able to accommodate guests who are not partipating in the candle-making.

Yes, we have ample parking for both cars and tour buses at our location. We share a parking lot with Drowned Lands Brewery.
You will handcraft two (2) 8oz candles during your class.
We are a working candle studio which operates in a beautifully restored 1842 Historic Manor House located in Warwick NY, just a short trip from New York City. We have free parking on-site, and share a lot with a trendy and instagrammable brewery with food and drinks available just next door.
Candle classes start promptly, and we suggest that you and your party plan to arrive 10 min early to avoid any unforeseen travel delays. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any latecomers after 15 min - as to respect the other attendees and not disrupt the learning process.
While we do not allow for cancellations for this class, we offer the opportunity to change your class once to another date OR we can issue a gift card to be used in our retail store minus any Eventbrite fees. Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
No, we require every attendee to have a ticket for the candle making class.
Yes, we offer private candle making classes. We enjoy hosting bachelorette parties, networking events, and birthday parties. Please reach out to info@scriptedfragrance.com for questions about scheduling and options for customization!
All children under the age of 15 must have a parent and or guardian present for our candle-making classes. Contact us for private workshops designed for children under the age of 15. Under no circumstances are children under the age of 8 permitted in our classes. Each person requires a ticket.
Feel free to bring your favorite beverage in your beloved Stanley or water bottle but please leave the snacks at home. Candle making and eating don't mix well so it's best to have a snack before class!
