When does my Sleepover begin and end?

Accepted Answer

Each Sleepover event begins at 8pm on the selected night and ends at 8am the next morning.

Question 2

Where should I park during the Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

The Last Bookstore has no dedicated parking lot. There is overnight parking available in several nearby garages, including on Main Street between 4th and 5th Streets.

Question 3

Will my group be the only one in the bookstore during my Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

There are 14 available slots each night, and some nights may have more attendees than others. General admission ticket holders will all spend the night in the open areas on the ground floor of the bookstore. Groups seeking private areas should purchase premium tickets to specific areas of the store.

Can I bring my kids?

Our Spring Break Sleepovers are 21+ events. We may host family-friendly sleepovers in the future so stay tuned for that.

Question 5

Can I bring food or drinks?

Accepted Answer

We don't allow outside food in the Sleepovers. We will have snacks available from our vending machine throughout the night. Guests are encouraged to eat a meal before their Sleepovers begin.

You may bring outside beverages, including beer and wine.

Question 6

What if I lose something, break something, or am injured during my Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

The Last Bookstore is not responsible for any losses or harm incurred during the Spring Break Sleepovers. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the order form.

Question 7

Am I able to leave and come back during my Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

Guests are required to remain in their designated areas of the store for the duration of their Sleepover.

Question 8

Am I able to shop for books during my Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Sleepover shopping is strongly encouraged. All purchases will need to be made before the Sleepover ends at 8am in the morning.

Question 9

What should I bring to my Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

The short answer is it's up to you! Here are some things we recommend:

- Sleeping bag and/or tent
- Pillow
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Beverages of your choice
- Flashlight
- Comfortable clothing
- Change and small bills for the vending machines

Question 10

How do I check in for my Sleepover when I arrive?

Accepted Answer

You will enter through the front entrance to the bookstore on 5th Street. Each attendee will need to present their ticket and prove that they have read and agreed to our terms and conditions.

Question 11

What if I want to book a Sleepover for a large group, or have a private Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

We have options for both large groups and individuals or couples who wish to book an entire night for themselves. We have a ticket available for $4,000 that reserves the store for the entire night. Groups of more than 14 people will need to email adam@lastbookstorela.com with details of their party.

Question 12

What do we do in case of an emergency during our Sleepover?

Accepted Answer

An employee of the Last Bookstore will be available at all times during your Sleepover. That individual can direct your group to all emergency exits and will have first aid materials on hand. The Spring Arts Tower also has a security guard at the front desk 24 hours a day in case of emergencies.

Question 13

What do I get from purchasing a premium ticket?

Accepted Answer

Premium tickets grant private access to the area of your choice to sleep in after lights out at midnight. All attendees, whether general admission or premium, will be able to explore the entire store before lights out, but premium tickets reserve the area of your choice for up to two people.
