Spring Bird Walk 2026

Spring Bird Walk 2026

Oxleas WoodLondon, England
Saturday, Apr 18 from 9:30 am to 11 am
Overview

Join Friends of Oxleas Woodlands for a guided walk focusing on Spring birds.

Don't miss out on this delightful guided Bird Walk in the heart of London! On Saturday, 18th April, 2026 at 09:30 AM GMT.

Whether you are a seasoned birdwatcher or just starting out, this walk is perfect for everyone. David Jones will lead us , sharing fascinating insights about the local bird population and their behaviour.

Spring is the best time of year to watch and hear birds in Oxleas Wood. Resident birds like Dunnock and Robin will be joined by summer visitors like Whitethroat and Swallow. All will be busy getting partners, defending territories and then feeding their offspring. This makes it relatively easy to see these birds, at least the males.

Don't forget to bring your binoculars and cameras to capture these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow bird enthusiasts, exchange stories, and learn from one another.

All walks are led by volunteers on behalf of the Friends of Oxleas Woodlands (FOW), we welcome donations at the time of booking if you're in a position to give one. All donations received will help to protect the woodlands.
