Registration to participate in the Bike Day:

Children registered may come to Creekside park between 10 and 12:30. During this time the child will be fitted for an adaptive bike by therapists and equipment specialists and have an opportunity to ride around the 1/4 mile paved loop and enjoy the journey with special surprises along the way!

Raffle Tickets:

Raffle tickets will be sold to win a gift donated by local merchants. Funds raised will help purchase a bike for a lucky child that has been nominated for our bike day drawing. Each raffle ticket can be purchased as a general donation or in the name of one of the nominated children to count as an additional entry for that child in the drawing for the adaptive bike.

Drawings for Raffle and Bike Winner:

There will be two drawings. One to select the winner(s) of the raffle prize(s) and one to select the winner(s) of the adaptive bike(s). Winners will be selected and announced on the day of the event.

Nominated kids:

Evelynn P.: "Evee has such a sweet spirit about her and wants/tries to do everything else her friends and cousins do. Riding a Bike or scooter has been an activity that has proved to be a challenge. She tends to just run alongside of them as they go down the driveway or on the road. The opportunity for her to have an adaptive bicycle to join in would be SO amazing!"

Penelope F: "Penelope is a bright and sunshine-y four year old with a smile that melts hearts! Despite facing challenges with FOXG1 syndrome, Penelope's spirit is full of joy and she has an infectious way of making friends wherever she goes. A little fighter at heart, Penelope has overcome incredible obstacles, like defying early prognoses about walking. Now, Penelope dreams of riding a bike alongside her big sister. Currently, her bike rides are limited to ten minutes during physical therapy, but the pure happiness on her face during those moments is truly inspiring. An adaptive bike would open up a whole new world of freedom and fun, allowing Penelope to explore and create lasting memories with her family"

David B.: "He was born with Muscular Dystrophy. He doesn't know know it yet. But he does know he has a hard time keeping up with other kids. He's strong willed, and would love nothing more than to ride a bike with the other kids"

Sean L.: "Sean will be turning 20 this year! He is non-ambulatory and suffers from CP and some other challenges. Mobility is not only key to Sean's health and well being, it is also a form of social activity, movement, community and inclusion. Sean loves to be outside, loves motion, as a child loved being in a bike carrier. Sean is working in therapy with biking and would be a wonderful asset for him to enjoy his adaptive bike at home, with friends and family."

Camden C.: "My son is a super sweet joyful little boy. He loves race cars, monster trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles! He is on the spectrum and has motor delays due to a genetic disorder and he needs the extra support given by an adaptive bike to be able to ride a bicycle. We have tried many different things for him so he can try to ride a bike at home like his big brother and nothing has been able to work for him that we can provide. He loves watching his big brother and now his little sister as well ride their bikes. He will go on his big wheels and just use it as a ride on toy to be able to “ride bikes“ with his siblings. He has been riding an adaptive bike in physical therapy once a week for a couple of years now and he absolutely loves it and does so well on it with his therapist. He loves to be outdoors and to be able to do activities along with his siblings so if he would be able to get an adaptive bike he would be able to ride bikes with his siblings which is something they enjoy doing together."

Briar L. : Briar is a loving, energetic boy who loves movement! He would absolutely love to have a bike.
