Spring 2026 Reception

The Consortium for Gender, Sexuality, Race and Public Culture brings together faculty researchers from across USC, Southern California and beyond, to explore and contextualize shifts in representations of gender, race and sexuality in public culture, while translating that research to the public square.

End-of-year reception honoring our seniors, retiring faculty and staff, as well as our guest Streisand Lecturer, Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs.

Pardee Lawn

The reception will take place on Thursday, April 30 at 5pm on Pardee Lawn behind the Doheny Memorial Library, immediately after Dr. Gumbs' talk (which begins at 3:30pm in DML 240). An invitation is attached with details, along with a flier for Dr. Gumbs' lecture.If you are a graduating USC GSS major and plan to attend, please respond to this email.
