Come out to SeaTac BMX on Friday, May 16, 2025 for a FREE "give-it-a-try" open house, especially for new riders, to learn about and get some on-track experience in the sport of BMX Racing. The event runs 5:30PM to 7:00PM.

During the 90-minute event, your rider will get some basic instruction on BMX Racing and ride the track, under the supervision of our League coaches and volunteers. Parents will learn about how the League is structured, and have a no-pressure opportunity to sign up.

The Beginners-only Spring 2025 League season starts Friday, May 30 (5:30PM), and runs on the following schedule:

May 30 – 5:30PM to 8:00PM
June 6 – 5:30PM to 8:00PM
June 13 – 5:30PM to 8:00PM
June 20 – 5:30PM to 8:00PM
June 27 – 5:30PM to 8:00PM

Sessions run at SeaTac BMX in North SeaTac Park.

The League is a Beginners-only experience, which includes both instruction and racing in each of the five sessions.

The Open House is the perfect opportunity to learn about the League, and get in on an activity that is all-about fun, fitness and family time.

For more info on the League, or to enroll, visit: http://seatacbmxleague.com.

The League is open to boys and girls 4-15 years, and moms, dads and grandparents of riders. A "Beginner" is someone who has never raced BMX outside of the League program.

Here's a rundown of how the event will be structured:

**For Riders**

Kids will enjoy a "roll-around" on the track, supervised by our league coach and on-track volunteers. This is an "appetizer portion" to the instruction they will receive during the League season. The League also includes racing as part of each session.

**For Parents**

Watch from the stands, or grab your bike, air up the tires and join the fun with your kids. When it comes time to sign up for the League, parents ride for half price. After a tour of the facility, we will give parents a briefing on how the League format works.

**For the Whole Family**

- A welcome message from SeaTac BMX staff.

- A "Track Walk," to give riders and parents an up-close view of the course.

- Firsthand stories from BMX families on what the sport of BMX Racing has done for them.

- Group and personal Q&A time to answer all your questions.

**What to Bring/What to Wear for Riders**

- Long sleeves, jeans, closed-toe "grippy" shoes

- A bike without reflectors, chain guard and/or pegs

- A helmet (full-face preferred)

**IMPORTANT**

Riders must be able to ride a pedal bike without training wheels to participate. We offer a "Strider" program for kids that are not-yet riding a pedal bike, on non-league race days.

Get the kids off the couch and on a bike! Race BMX...America's fastest-growing family sport!

Create one ticket per RIDER. Family members not riding do not need a ticket.
