Spot Light Awards

The Spot Light Awards “Recognizing & Honoring The Angels In Our Community,” will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, 7:30 — 11:00 PM, at The Charleston Gaillard Center. The Black Tie Dinner, Red Carpet Affair, will be filmed and televised via WCBD News 2, 2 weeks after the event. The event will provide an exciting evening of Love, Music, and entertainment.

The awards committee has selected 18 nominated individuals as finalist, and all 18 will be recognized and honored at the event as "Angels In Our Community." Yet, only 9 recipients will actually be chosen to receive A 2019 Spot Light Award; with each award given being named; with the approval of the family, after each one of the Emanuel 9 victims. Thus, each winner will be chosen partially due to a quality that they co-exhibit with the Emanuel Victim their award is named for.

(The Host of this event seeks to create an opportunity to thank these “Angels,” to show them that they are appreciated, by giving them “Their Flowers” while they are alive. The host also seeks to utilize this event to open the eyes of others, to see that they too can do positive things that will change lives, and make a real difference in our communities.)
