Cross Street Arts is an artist run studio group based in Standish, a couple of miles north of Wigan Town Centre and one of the longest established studio groups in Greater Manchester.
The group are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a series of exhibitions, projects and events during the year. The next exhibition taking place in their gallery will present a large body of work from artists from across the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and USA who are currently part of Turps Correspondence Course. (Turps is a highly regarded educational resource for painters and sculptors that artists can access globally.)
Following a highly successful exhibition of the Turps artists in Wrexham in a Hypha Studios art space Cross Street artists are thrilled to be bringing together such a great cohort of artists to the North West, something so positive for our region and wider community. The Exhibition has been installed by Cross Street Arts and is running from 26th April-7th June.
