About this event

This is a spirituality and faith-oriented class, realizing the True Self, growing devotion to God, and seeing our Oneness with all.

Vedanta is an interfaith spiritual philosophy and practice. We are informed by Jnana Yoga (path of Self-knowledge), Bhakti Yoga (path of devotion), and Karma Yoga (path of giving love in egoless actions).

IVS has been, for the last thirty five years, disseminating to the public the message of Truth, Love, Peace, Bliss and Oneness, in a way that is both devotional and practical, art and science. The motto of IVS is "Salvation of the Self and Well-being of the Universe" - teaching people the way to realize their True Self and then help the world.

The founder and core of IVS was Sri Bhagavan, a powerhouse of enlightenment. Bhagavan resided in Kolkata, India until his mahasamadhi in 2023. He left behind a team of enlightened saints, practicing aspirants and well-wishers who are working to bring the teachings of Vedanta door to door to the people (which was His mission).
