Spiritual Book Study with Eaden Shantay

Join Eaden Shantay for a weekly online study group dedicated to personal growth and self discovery. Attend any session, though sessions build on previous concepts.

AREAS OF INQUIRY: Who am I? What is my purpose? How can I experience more contentment in my life? Why do we suffer? What is creation? What is God? What happens when we die?

MEETING TIME: Wednesdays, 12 Pacific, 1pm Mountain, 2pm Central, 3pm Eastern.

LOCATION: Zoom Link. Password: 611469. Each re-occuring Wednesday session will utilize the same link.
We are now offering an in-person location for zoom gathering at the True Nature Healing Arts Campus in Carbondale, Colorado. The Meditation Room has been reserved to gather in-person. Please coordinate to bring your own computer or access to Zoom, we will not be able to provide tech support.

FIRST TEXT: Gita Bodh, by Uday Karanjkar (2nd edition). Amazon is only carrying the first edition. Please purchase the hardcover 2nd edition from www.bookganga.com (http://www.bookganga.com/). If you weren't able to obtain a copy at True Nature or online, no problem. Eaden will recap the present week's reading at the beginning of each session.

FORMAT: Each group will begin with a short invocation chant and meditation. Eaden will provide a summary of the previous week and the present week’s material. The last half of each session is group inquiry and discussion.

PRE-REQUISITE: A desire to learn and grow. No previous experience necessary.

EADEN SHANTAY:

Has been a seeker on the path of self-discovery since I was 18. At 57. He continuea to practice, learn and deepen. Eaden has intimately explored Western Psychology, Native American Spirituality and Eastern Traditions including Advaita Vedanta and Traditional Vedanta. His present passions include creating sacred spaces for community to gather(True Nature, Carbondale, CO and Loma Sagrada, Garza, Costa Rica) and leading conscious living retreats with his wife Deva. He has four children, four dogs and two cats. Previously, Eaden led a weekly Vedanta study group for five years.
