SpiritCon 2017

Members of Park Hill United Methodist Church, Temple Micah, and Masjid Taqwa have joined together for three other well attended events (October 2016 Interfaith Dialog, November 2016 Circle of Solidarity, and February 2017 SpiritCon) and eagerly anticipate SpiritCon 2018.

Please join Park Hill United Methodist Church, Temple Micah, and Masjid Taqwa (Northeast Denver Islamic Center) for a fun, spirit-filled day of panel discussions, lectures, and spiritual encounters. At SpiritCon, you won’t see people in superhero costumes, and we don’t expect an appearance by William Shatner. But you will find exciting and in-depth discussion on topics as diverse as the common roots of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, the intersection of faith and social justice, and mystical traditions in these three faiths.  Newly-appointed United Methodist Bishop Karen Oliveto will be our keynote speaker.
We’ve planned several different sessions, including:

This is a full-day event, but you may come for a single session, multiple sessions or all day for the same pre-registration price of $15 per person or $25 per family.  Food will be available for purchase.  Please help us guarantee lunch availablity by selecting meal choices for each member of your party.  Childcare will be provided for participants who pre-register and request childcare.  A limited number of childcare reservations are available, so register early.  Parents are expected to reclaim and feed their children during the lunch break.
Pre-registration ends on 2/1.  Prices at the door on 2/4 are  $25 per person or $40 per family.  Registration opens at 8:00 am on Febuary 4th and Programming begins at 9:00 am.

FAQs
 
Is the event accessible?
For the most part.  There may be a few sessions (not yet identified) in classrooms that are not accessible but the majority of the sessions, registration, the market place, and food court are all in accessible locations.
 
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No.  Childcare is provided for participants who pre-register and request childcare for children ages 1-10.  You may take infants to the Convention sessions but we request that you leave if they become disruptive.
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a small parking lot to the North of the church and parking is available on the streets.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds will be provided on the day of the event with your printed ticket and a valid id.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes.

No.
 
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Yes.  You must provide a letter stating to whom you are transferring your ticket.
