Overview
Get ready to move, shake, and take center stage! Join us to explore the worlds of dance and DJing.
Throughout the weeks, students will learn the fundamentals of dance styles alongside the basics of DJing, including beat matching, song selection, mixing techniques, and live performance.
Whether stepping onto the dance floor or behind the DJ controller for the first time, students will collaborate, create original routines and playlists, and gain the skills to entertain and inspire an audience.
Class Outline:
- 7/15 & 7/29 - Chrybaby
- 7/22 & 8/5 - DJ Fly Ty
- 8/12 - Hypegirl and Jada
Participants will learn:
- Dance fundamentals, choreography, and performance techniques
- Introduction to DJ equipment and mixing
- Rhythm, timing, and musicality
- Collaboration, creativity, and teamwork
No prior dance or DJ experience is required. Registration is Required
