Come Out of the Broom Closet

Have you always suspected you were meant to have a broom of your own?

Join local artist and metalsmith Malissa Kuznicki for a hands-on whisk broom-making workshop inspired by the wonderfully witchy world of Practical Magic.

You'll create your own spellbinding whisk broom, choosing your favorite combination of broom materials and colorful cord. Whether your aesthetic is natural and earthy, midnight black, witchy purple, pumpkin orange, or enchanted green, you can make a broom that's uniquely yours.

Make It Your Own

Choose from broom colors including:

• 🌿 Natural
• 💜 Purple
• 🧡 Orange
• 🖤 Black
• 💚 Green

A variety of string colors will also be available so you can create your own color combination.

And don't forget your personal magic! Bring your own small charms, beads, talismans, ribbons, or other meaningful treasures to incorporate into your broom. (Please keep them small and suitable for attaching to the finished broom.)

A Little Making, A Little Magic

No previous broom-making or crafting experience is necessary. We'll spend the workshop creating, experimenting, and enjoying the process of making something beautiful with our own hands.

Light refreshments will be provided.

You'll leave with your own handmade whisk broom—and hopefully a little more magic than you arrived with.

Take-home broom-making kits will be available for an additional charge if you discover that one broom simply isn't enough.
