Grab a friend, and your most recent speeding ticket, and head to The Glendale Room Thursday March 12th for a night of hilarity. Doors at 7:30pm. Featuring Laurie Kilmartin, James Tison, Amber North, Quincy Yeoman, Nicki Fuchs, and music by Couplet. Hosted by MK Gannon.</p><p><br></p><p>Laurie Kilmartin is stand up comedian and an Emmy-nominated, WGA award-winning comedy writer. She was a staff writer for all 11 years of CONAN on TBS, and has performed standup on CONAN, Late Late Show w/James Corden, and Comedy Central. She was a Top 10 finalist on season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing, and has been a guest on Marc Maron's WTF 3 times. She is the author of Dead People Suck, a comedic memoir about grief, and Shitty Mom- NY Times bestselling comedy about parenting. Her special 45 Jokes About My Dead Dad, was named Vulture 's Top Ten Comedy Specials of 2016. In 2022, she was a guest in the “Comedy” episode of Hillary Clinton’s 2022 Apple TV series Gutsy. Her new special “Cis Woke Grief Slut,” taped at Hollywood’s El Portal Theater, will be available on all platforms in January, 2024. </p><p>https://lauriekilmartin.com/</p><p><br></p><p>Quincy Yeoman is chaotic neutral mixed with absurdism, dry wit and astute observations. They will have you in LOL-ing as she safely guides you from one topic to the next. Quincy mostly does stand-up, but she's too dynamic of an artist to remain pigeonholed, so they can also be found filming sketches, writing, and podcasting. Co-creator of podcast/live show Down Bad, Has been seen on Don't Tell Comedy, Lots of sketches, like a lot, and more to come…former host/producer of Is This Normal?, and former Host for Seattle's Moth StorySLAM. They’ve been seen on Don’t Tell, Wet City, Limestone, Treefort, Bumbershoot, New Negros Live!, and the Seattle International Comedy Competition. https://www.quincyyeoman.com/</p><p><br></p><p>Couplet is a folksy jokesy comedy duo and couple, Marnina Schon and Micah O’Konis and want to make you their third wheel. Their show HONEY HONEY MOON MOON won awards and five-star reviews. Her dark wit and subtly biting and deadpan social commentary consistently wins over crowds. Amber has performed all over the country, including stops in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and cities all over the southeast region. Amber pushes the boundaries with her comedy, often incorporating hilarious anecdotes with clever, honest observations about life.She is also the creator, producer, and host of Grrrls Nite Out, Atlanta’s longest running all female stand-up comedy showcase from 2016-2023. It was revived in December 2024 for a special edition show in Nashville. MK produced several successful shows including the weekly Dive Hard at the Dive Motel, Live at The Lipstick Lounge, the character driven impressions show - Dead Comedians, The Roast of the NFL and the annual Eastside Comedy Festival. She recently released her debut comedy half-hour, “Clown Me”, with Los Angeles label Burn This Records, with clips featured on SiriusXM, and has hosted for headlining comedians such as Kristen Toomey, Joe Lycett, and Ian Aber.
