If you are looking for a safe space to ask questions, receive encouragement, and share resources as you figure out the best ways to support your neurodivergent child, then please consider attending Spectrum Connection, a support group for caregivers.

During this hour-long support group, caregivers will have an opportunity to:

  1. Hear from a professional who works with neurodivergent individuals or to hear from each other and neurodivergent adults.
  2. Ask questions
  3. Share resources
  4. Seek connection and understanding

Spectrum Connection is co-sponsored by Shakti in the Mountains and Little Social. Abbi Leitnaker, a speech-language pathologist and the owner of Little Social, is offering free childcare services for the children of the caregivers who wish to attend the support group. (When you register, the childcare details and a link to register are provided in the confirmation email.) Kim Bushore-Maki will host the support group. Since these businesses are located directly across the street, caregivers and children will not be far away from each other.

Parents who are using the childcare provided by Little Social may park in the Little Social parking lot. Little Social's doors open at 5:45 pm and close at 7:15 pm, giving parents time to drop off their children before the meeting and parents time to connect after the meeting.
