Description: In this course, participants will learn about the aesthetic performance of the most common types of topcoats, examine the effects of UV exposure on color and gloss retention, and learn how to select and specify finishes based on expected levels of performance. We will discuss the relevant industry consensus standards governing product selection, surface preparation requirements, and comparative material performance evaluations. Participants will also gain understanding of the complexities of specifying for maximum performance on environmentally sensitive projects.
