For 50 years, Special Consensus has been one of bluegrass music's most enduring and beloved bands.

Founded by banjo master Greg Cahill in 1975, the Chicago-based group has spent five decades honoring the traditions of bluegrass while continuing to find fresh inspiration in contemporary songwriting. Their rich harmonies, impeccable musicianship, and infectious energy have earned them two Grammy nominations, eight International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards, and the admiration of audiences around the world.

Their latest release, Been All Around This World, celebrates the band's remarkable Golden Anniversary, while continuing the sound that has made Special Consensus a bluegrass institution.
