Introducing: SpeakUp Weekly - The Studio
The studio is where artists come to work on their craft, and that is what we are doing. A safe place where you can practice and learn the craft of speaking in public.
Every Tuesday night is the time to become more dynamic! From 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm, join the Speakers Studio and become part of a speaker training group like no other. Hear inspiring stories as you hone your speaking skills with our weekly training in a supportive space for all speakers, business owners, trainers, and coaches. Join us and take your speaking skills off the charts.
We're coming together as a collective, sharing our stories, perfecting our presentations in front of an audience, and getting weekly training - all while building up this incredible community. Don't miss the opportunity!
Every month follows this format:
Week 1 - Training from the facilitators on the Monthly Topic.
Week 2 - A volunteer gets challenged to pull the Topic out of them.
Week 3 - A volunteer shares how they Put this into Practice or teach the topic back to us.
Week 4 - This is a decisive breakout week where each person learns from others.
Every week, we will have storytelling warm-ups, an opportunity for someone to practice their speech, and training (following the format listed above)—a chance for you to get powerful feedback from an audience.
The $20.00 charge is for a single week. We offer a discount for monthly and yearly memberships. Talk to us at the event to find out more.

Frequently asked questions
If you miss the day you signed up for, you can come another day, but once you pay for the class, there is no refund.
Only children over the age of 14 are permitted. There is a lot of interaction with the group, so if kids do come, they are expected to participate.
You are coming to a speaking class, and we love participation. You will not be forced to do anything but may be asked questions.
It is somewhat like Toastmasters in that it is a group of people wanting to get better at speaking, but it is different because there is more open training and interaction. The Studio is designed not only for you to learn and practice but also to have fun!
