About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 15 minutes

In these weird times, we need weird thinking – as well as wisdom from diverse traditions and voices. Join us to explore poetry, ideas, and conversation in a space where all perspectives are valued.

We'll engage with well-known and inspiring poets and thinkers - from Rebecca Solnit to Rilke, from Audre Lorde to Thich Nat Han because, as the title suggests, while creating room for our own unique responses.

No special knowledge required – just curiosity and openness.

"Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." - Rainer Maria Rilke

"A word after a word after a word is power." - Margaret Atwood

Here's some of the feedback from previous course participants!

🌟 "The course is a practice in self-acceptance with a welcoming and knowledgeable host. You quickly get the sense of how much Kate is a walking library and feel encouraged by her. It was a privilege getting to witness each other, share our words, and connect in a world full of missed connections. A lifeline." — Salma, Course Participant

🌟 "Kate's workshops have been a delight, and I’m sad the course is ending. Kate has a knack for creating and maintaining a welcoming, easy-going space for creative exploration, with great source materials and exercises to help ideas flow." — Fergus Murray, Course Participant

🌟 "I found the course enjoyable and accessible. The resonance with others and the safe space to reflect on neurodivergent life was enriching. Kate was a generous, thoughtful, and inclusive facilitator who created a space where we could all connect and contribute in a way that worked for us." — Rox, Course Participant

🌟 "If you're neurodivergent or suspect you might be, I highly recommend Kate’s poetry courses. They are poetry for the soul and may just help bring you home to yourself." — Rachael, Course Participant
