Do I have to speak?

There's no pressure to dive in straight away. If you'd prefer to watch, listen, and get a feel for the room first, that's completely fine. You'll still learn a lot just from observing. When you're ready, the room will be ready for you.

How many times will I speak?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how many people join us, but expect to speak at least once or twice per session. The group is intentionally kept small so everyone gets real time on their feet.

Question 3

What kind of topics will I speak on?

Accepted Answer

Completely random — and that's the point. You might be asked to tell a story from your past, share an opinion on an everyday topic, or respond to something thought-provoking. The unpredictability is what builds the skill.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. That's the whole idea. Show up as you are. The practice is in responding to the unexpected — so there's nothing to prepare and nothing to memorise. Just bring yourself.

How is this different from a networking event?
