Scandinavia House was created by the American-Scandinavian Foundation to be the leading center for Nordic culture in the United States. It offers a wide range of programs that include exhibitions, film series, concerts and other performances, readings, lectures, language courses, and activities for kids.

Scandinavia House

Sparrows is the touching coming-of-age story of sixteen-year-old Ari who has been living with his mother in Reykjavík when he is suddenly sent back to the remote Westfjords to live with his father. There he discovers that his childhood friends have changed and is forced to navigate a difficult relationship with his father. In this seemingly hopeless situation, Ari has to step up and find his way. Directed by Rúnar Rúnarsson (Iceland, 2015).
