"Networking" can sound intimidating sometimes, right? It doesn't have to be, and that's why Campus Philly created events like Spark Philly. Building a "network" starts with creating genuine connections and relationships, and it's these connections that ultimately help you in your job and internship search in Philly.
At Spark Philly, young professionals (like Haley, a <A HREF="http://bit.ly/2BnoVqj" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Project Manager at Publicis Health Media</A>) working in thriving careers in the Philadelphia area will facilitate small group discussions by sharing their own experiences on networking, interviewing, and launching a career in the region. You'll walk away with advice, resources, and new connections.
After the small group discussions, you'll enjoy FREE light bites from honeygrow and FREE cookies from Insomnia Cookies while connecting with fellow college students and young professionals, including individuals from Publicis Health, Comcast, Dorman Products, Pennoni, Energage, and more (full list of employers below).
Oh, and the dress code? Whatever you feel most comfortable in—come as you are! And don't worry about bringing resumes to the event — you can <A HREF="https://www.dropbox.com/request/jnZtwCh5jE5I7bprJ42w" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">upload it here</A>. The only thing you'll have to carry around at Spark is your confidence.
Doors open at 5pm, and the small group discussions will take place from 5:30 to 6:30pm, followed by networking and food until 7:30pm.
