Spark! A Heart Full of Social/Emotional Learning - On Demand

Dawson ESC and Bauxite School District leaders present on the action steps they are currently taking to meet social and emotional needs for students and teachers that extends beyond their schools. They discuss how they determined a shared vision, what strategies and resources they are implementing, and why this is a crucial focus.

Learning Intentions:

• Participants will learn about how one school (housed at Dawson Education Service Cooperative) is meeting the social/emotional needs of students and teachers and how that is spreading to other schools.
• Participants will have an improved ability to apply knowledge to a problem of practice.
• Participants will improve networking for collaborative problem-solving.

Spark! is a virtual community of practice designed with conversation and processing in mind for educational leaders looking to address pertinent school issues and challenges. The free Spark! Sessions are scheduled on the first and third Wednesdays of each month September through May.
