Please join us for an evening of wonderful food prepared and served by the students in the Culinary Arts program at Southern Maine Community College. The five course tasting menu with be expertly paired with wine from the Barcelona region to complement the dishes.

We can accommodate parties up to 6 for seating. This event is 21+

All proceeds will benefit the students that will be going to Barcelona, Spain at the end of May for a 10 day learning experience.

The menu for the evening is as follows:

Course One

Tapas Plate with an assortment of:

Iberico or Serrano Ham, Spanish Chorizo, Manchego and Mahon Cheeses, Marcona Almonds, Spanish Olives, Figs or Dates, Catalan Bread Slices

Course Two

Gazpacho

Course Three

Esqueixada de Bacalla (shredded salt cod and tomato salad)

Course Four

Spanish Roast Pork Tenderloin & Piquillo Pepper Sauce served with Tortilla de Papa (grilled potato cake) and braised Catalan Chard

Course Five

Crema Catalana (Spanish Creme Brulee)

Are reservations required?

Yes- limited seating is available.

Can you modify the menu to accommodate dietary restrictions?

No. We would like to, but due to the complexity of the menu, we are unable to make changes.

Where on the SMCC campus is the building located?

Where do I park?

There is parking in the rear of the building and the side of the building. Look for signage that will direct you to the main entrance.

Why should I buy a ticket?

All proceeds from the dinner will be used to support student travel. On May 28th, 15 students plus two faculty will be traveling to Barcelona, Spain for a 10 day learning experience.

Will refunds be given if we cannot attend?

Please contact mlasalle@smccme.edu if something comes up and you cannot attend. If we are able to resell your tickets, we will issue a refund.
