This retreat in the Catskills is a playful, inspiring opportunity to connect and create with others, or on your own.
There are campfires, s’mores, singing, swimming, a talent show, game night, and more!
The schedule includes professionally-led workshops appropriate for all levels in Brazilian samba drumming (led by Mike Stevens), improv theater (led by Bobbi Block), and science and nature (led by Anya Rose).
The vibe is loose: you can come and go to whatever sessions appeal to you, or take time to yourself! There will also be opportunties for participants to offer their own sessions.
*Total Cost of Space Camp = food + fees + lodging. Total cost ranges from $600-$1400, depending on your lodging choice. When you register through Eventbrite, you'll pay a $100 deposit. You'll then be invoiced separarely, and your $100 deposit will be deducted from your final invoice.

Total Cost of Space Camp = food + fees + lodging. Food + fees = $525. This covers 11 meals, facilitation/admin, materials and insurance. Your lodging cost is determined by your room choice and number of roommates. Your total cost will be between $600-$1400, depending on your choice.
Register here in Eventbrite, with a $100 deposit between now and May 1. You'll be sent a confirmation email with a link to the Lodging Sign-up form. Register sooner for more room choices! After we tally up the roommates/fees, we will send you an invoice, due by paypal or venmo before May 15.

After you pay your deposit, you'll get an email confirmation. SCROLL DOWN to the bottom of that email and you'll find the link for the Space Camp Housing Sign Up Sheet. There you'll find detailed descriptions of lodging options and pricing. Sign up for your choice!
We have three, communal meals a day. The chefs are super responsive to food allergies and requests. The food is fresh and filling, but not fancy. Daily hot breakfast! There are small refrigerators around the camp for you to store your own food if you like.
There's a gorgeous swimming hole with a waterfall! Easy to walk into the water. It's about a 10 minute walk down a dirt road from the main camp area. There's no lifeguard. You can drive to get a little closer, but you will need to walk a portion of the way on uneven, grassy ground.
Plenty of folks attended camp last year not knowing anyone! Go for it! You will make friends quickly. This is part of why we keep it small (capped at 30 campers)

All workshops are designed to address all levels, from complete novice to advanced. Workshops are designed to make you totally comfortable trying something new, or help you dive deeper into an area you already pursue.
Alcohol will not be served. You can BYO after dark, but shhhhh…. We didn’t tell you that!
Most activities are within a 4 minute flat walk from lodging. Daily drumming sessions, + campfires + camping take place down a hill accessible by gravel road or dirt path (about a 3 minute walk). We are happy to arrange transportation up and down the hill. Lodges have ground floor options.
Space Camp is designed for adults, as we do not provide childcare or child-centered activities. If you have questions about bringing a mature teen or baby, please reach out to lawoftwofeet@gmail.com.
If participant cancels within 60 days of June 18, they will receive a full refund, minus the $100 deposit. If participant cancels within 30 days, they will receive a 50% refund minus $100. If participant cancels after June 1, participant will be refunded $260 (covers food).
