About this event

  • 5 hours

Soy Celesté is a Latin Feminist Punk music project from unceded Ute, Cheyenne and Arapaho lands also referred to as Denver, CO. Celesté Martinez (she/her/ella) is the creator, lead vocalist, and guitarist of Soy Celesté. She is proudly supported by her bandmates stevie gunter (any/all) on bass and Saladin Thomas (he/him) on drums. Her emotionally charged sound melds Latin Folk and Riot Grrrl punk rock through creative imagery to ignite social change.

Soy Celesté will release her first full length album "Feminista Manifestó" August 2, 2024. This album captures more layers to Celesté's story, her identity as a Queer Chicana, and amplifies her intersectional feminist politics. In anticipation of the album a single "Machista" ft Joshua Trinidad will be released on May 3, 2024. For this show, the Soy Celesté trio will be accompanied by guest artists Joshua Trinidad on trumpet and Emmanuel Luna on keys.

Sam Bosch is a gay singer songwriter based in Denver, CO. Be sure to check out their album "Skinny Dipping in the Baptismal Fountain" starting on April 19, 2024.

s.t3v is a Denver based singer songwriter who treats genre with indifference, bridging grunge, indie rock, soul and jazz. Listen to their debut EP "postcards2luvrs" wherever you listen to music.
