Enchanting and unconventional, South is a female-led, one-act musical with a South American folk-pop score that will make you feel nostalgic for the place — and time — called home.An uplifting story about finding one's roots, inspired by the writer's experiences as an Argentinian in NY. Come for the story. Stay for the music.Presented at Nuyorican Poets Cafe, a cultural icon on New York’s Lower East Side since 1973. The Cafe’s Theater Program has been honored with an OBIE Grant for Excellence in Theater.
