We are so excited to take a day trip from Michigan City, Indiana to South Haven, MI! We have chartered a luxury 56 seat bus with wifi and bathrooms.
Itinerary: (please note: all times are central standard)
9:00 am
Meet at Bartlett's Base Camp and Provisions for coffee or juice and a breakfast sandwich.
9:30 am
Bus leaves and heads to Van Buren State Park.
10:30 am
Arrive Van Buren State Park. Attendees can hike, climb a huge dune, walk the beach or relax at picnic tables. We will be at park for an hour and a half.
12:00 pm
Bus leaves Van Buren State Park and heads to Three Blondes Brewery. Those that want to stop there are welcome to get off bus. (you will be picked up at 1:45). Sherman's Ice cream is also right down the street!
Others can stay on bus and will be dropped off at South Beach.
Spend the day shopping, at the beach, dining, wine tasting. We will have a complete guide with all of our favorite things to do in South Haven.
6:45pm
Everyone meet at South Beach for a group photo and sunset! We will watch the sun go down by the pier and then head back
8pm
Return to base camp after a long, fun filled day with Dig the Dunes!
Your ticket includes bus trip, breakfast sandwich and non-alcoholic beverage at Base Camp, entrance into State Park, and a goodie bag with snacks and other fun gifts. Dig the Dunes will also help facilitate groups that would like to take a boat charter and other activities.
You are welcome to bring canned alcoholic beverages on the bus. No glass.
