FAQs

What are the Intergenerational Games?

The mission of the Intergenerational Games is to increase mutual understanding and respect between generations and to promote healthy, active, life-long behaviors.

How strenuous are the activities?

The activities are not rigorous. However, they do require participants to be in generally good health and be able to stand and walk for a couple of hours.

I do not believe my physical health will allow me to participate. Can I still be involved?

YES! You can participate as a volunteer to help manage the activity stations for the Intergenerational Games. Please contact Jessica Bayon (jessica.bayon@sdcounty.ca.gov) and indicate that you would like to be assigned to a stationary activity.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. You will not need to bring anything to check in. We will have a list of participants who have registered at the check-in table. On another note, don't forget your sunglasses, sunscreen and hat!

What is the check-in process?

In order for you and the children to have as much time as possible for the activities, please arrive to the Chula Vista Training Center between 9am and 9:30am. At the check-in station, you will be asked to provide your name and a signature on the photography and liability release forms. Once you have checked in, you may enjoy the free continental breakfast and await the commencement activities.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

For more information, please contact

Jessica Bayon (858) 495-5715 jessica.bayon@sdcounty.ca.gov

I do not want to participate in the activities, but I would like to volunteer. Should I register?

No. If you are interested in volunteering, you do not need to register, but please email:

Jessica Bayon - jessica.bayon@sdcounty.ca.gov
