In this 2 hour workshop we will enjoy naturally leavened pizza together. Learn how to use your sourdough starter to ferment pizza dough. The sourdough pizza dough mix will be demonstrated. We will learn how to divide and shape our dough balls from dough that has been prepared in advance.

Each participant will make a pizza to enjoy. We will learn how to shape/stretch, top/assemble our pizzas and bake them together in the bread oven. Different baking variables for home kitchens will be discussed.

Recipes for sauces and topping combinations included. Participants will leave with 2 pizza dough balls to bake at a home.

Cat is the pastry chef and baker at Farm Bar and formerly the sous chef and bread/pastry wizard at Living Kitchen Farm and Dairy. She is obsessed with all things fermentation, most notably sourdough bread. She's been baking since she got her hands on her mother's Betty Crocker cookbook in the 90's.
