Did you know that what is known as the old Miers Store was was built by a Revolutionary War P.O.W. and lived in by a veteran wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg also the scene of a tragic WW1 story ? Did you know it has survived multiple (5) accidents with runaway trucks?Meet in front of the Esperance-Sloansville Methodist Church US 20 175 Main St. 1:00 P.M.; walking tour of several historic sites, soup served afterwards at the Methodist Education Building, all by donation. Historical publications about the Village and Buildings available for purchase benefit the Esperance Museum.
