We weave our integrative offerings from a multi-disciplinary eco-system of acoustics, metaphysics, mindfulness, mysticism, fluid movement, bioenergetics, somatics, sustainability, biophilia, and biomimicry. The Heartwood Event Room

Orion and Astara of Illuminating Hearts join yoga instructor Maggie Knight Knaub of Divine Rebel Yoga to co-create conscious slow flow yoga and sonic bliss at The Heartwood Room.Maggie's entire yoga flow practice will be accompanied by Astara and Orion saturating the space around you with organic vibrations to help you get in touch with your deeper sense of being. We will end this event with a longer 20 minute Savasana as a Sound Alchemy experience.Soundscape Flow is inspired by Nāda Yoga, or the premise that all that exists in the cosmos, including human beings, consists of sound vibrations, called nāda. Nāda is the unstruck sound inside you. Our intentional holistic soundscape supports each yogi in deepening their connection to their body while remembering and resonating with their inner sound and wisdom.Pre-registration is encouraged. $25 Advanced, $30 DoorEvent starts at 6:30pm. Maggie Knight Knaub is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Over the course of 10 years, her relationship with yoga evolved. Initially, time on the mat was intimidating, but eventually the new world within the four corners of the mat became a safe haven and a source of grounding and healing. In April 2018, Maggie completed her 200-hour certification in vinyasa-style yoga with Awakened Warrior Yoga. Having a deep appreciation for the more gentle (yin) side of yoga, she has since obtained certifications in the practice of Yoga Nidra and Pranayama &amp; Meditation with ShivaShakti School of Yoga &amp; Healing Arts, and is currently completing trainings in Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga &amp; Slow Flow.Knowing that yoga can be intimidating, Maggie teaches that yoga can be accessible for everybody; it is simply a matter of finding what works best for each individual. She fosters a safe space for students empowering them by meeting self-doubt, limitations, or insecurities with self-love, compassion, and kindness. She encourages each individual to meet themselves where they’re at; a yoga practice changes from day to day, moment to moment. Maggie's passion is to share yoga's potential for transformation and depth with others. Yoga is a beautiful journey, and Maggie is truly grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to guide others on their path.

Astara is a heartrepreneur, illuminator, pragmatic mystic, writer, archaeomusician, architect, certified Energy Codes facilitator, and wellness innovator with over 21 years of experience in metaphysics, intuitive spirituality and sustainable architecture. As co-founder of Illuminating Hearts, Astara created Heartifact Archaeology, an eco-system of metaphysical energy based soul tools to help empower others. Her shamanic training has included work with Nan Moss, David Corbin, Jose Stevens, Jill Kuykendall, Hank Wesselman, and Michael Harner. She has worked with Angeles Arrien’s Jungian archetype approach with the tarot for over 15 years and over a decade of experience in Spiritual Response Therapy and Akashic records. Astara knows life is a symphony of love. It is her joy to bring people back in touch with their essence and connect them to nature within and without. Astara wakes up each morning to help others know that the heart is a deeply intelligent and powerful guidance system. She knows being alive is a great dance and can be found for hours at her piano playing and singing rock and roll. As a pianist and singer, Astara channels her knowledge of the power of intentional sound to individuals and groups.

Orion is a diverse, biodynamic, mindful, sustainable, organic sound farmer, and minister, cultivating heart-centered living. In addition to his passion for sound, Orion is also an artist and a skilled woodworker. His wide range of experience over the past 25 years lends to his gifts as a facilitator and teacher, innovator, pragmatic mystic, builder and archaeomusician. Orion is also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. Over many years, the didgeridoo, flute, and gong have taught him to resonate with the world from the heart through breath and rhythm. His true nature and calling is being a channel for sacred sounds to sonically create space for you. Orion knows we are all plucked, strummed, bowed and blown into vibration and resonance by a cosmic love. When he isn’t weaving a sonic palette, he can be found building artisan furniture from reclaimed wood or walking with Astara and their amazing “Brown Dog”.

FAQsAre there minimum age requirements to enter the event?As an event for deep relaxation and meditation, children aged 12 and up may attend to maintain this atmosphere.What can I bring into the event?Dress Comfortably. Bring your favorite blanket, yoga mat, pillow, whatever you need to make a comfortable nest for after yoga.What’s the refund policy?We refund cancellations in full received 24 Hours or more notice in advance of the event. Any cancellations we receive with less than 24 Hours notice in advance of the event will not be refunded.
