About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Music is a collection of sounds and sounds have vibrations that affect us on a neurological, physiological, emotional and biochemical level. Sound can have a profound impact on our mood. It is a fundamental force.

Sound therapy is an ancient wellness practice for self-healing, relaxation and self-care. It was rediscovered in the 1960s on the US West Coast and has since become a much studied, researched and practised subject area in the West.

The benefits of sound therapy have become widely recognised as a significant therapeutic treatment option. It can help mental, emotional and physical release, as well as the more spiritual aspects that can help people to go on a journey of deeper self-understanding and improve health and wellbeing.

This 55-minute soundbath, a more focused session than a regular soundbath, will enable us to concentrate on a specific theme or topic. This could be something challenging or that needs more insight in our lives.

Sound therapy is an ancient wellness practice for self-healing, relaxation and self-care. It was rediscovered in the 1960s on the US West Coast and has since become a much studied, researched and practised subject area in the West.

Sound Salon’s approach is informed by the theories and practice developed by the British Sound Therapy Association accredited by a UK university and recognised by the International Sound Therapy Association.

In each session we help people reach an alternate state of consciousness which will cause the body and mind to relax, initiating paths of self-repair and discovery.

The Sound Salon promotes a hybrid approach that combines eastern experience and practice with western scientific research. It’s mixing old tech like gongs and crystal bowls with precise and modulated frequencies provided by synths and sounds from nature.
