About this event

Friends, I would like to invite you to our Restorative Sound Bath Meditation Sound 60™ Series at Land of Buddha, NYC.

These are specially designed 60 minute Sound Meditation sessions. We have been holding them in schools for educators and students for the last 5 years. They are concentrated sessions where we will always focus on having the most peaceful, wonderful and relaxing time, as well as the vibrational frequencies of a different Chakra. This month we are also focusing on Brain Health and the Heart Chakra - The Chakra in charge of Compassion, Kindness, Communication & Love.

Afternoon Sound Bath Meditations are a combination of Breath Work, Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and a Sacred Sound Concert. These Sound Classes are about recharging, relaxation, restoration and healing. Benefits are often felt after the first session.

Sound Bath Meditations are a combination of breath work, restorative yoga, meditation, toning, chanting and a sacred sound concert. They have been shown to reduce stress, enable deep relaxation, strengthen the immune system, promote healing, enhance creativity, uplift the spirit and help with insomnia. No previous knowledge or experience is required. Sound is a very accessible form of meditation where benefits are usually experienced right after the first session.

Event happens every Monday at 1:00pm

Sound Baths are a combination of restorative yoga, meditation and a sacred sound concert. They have been shown to reduce stress, enable deep relaxation, enhance creativity, possibly uplift the spirit and help with insomnia. Sound Meditations slow down your brainwaves and guide you into a deep meditative state or altered state of consciousness. Participants lay down comfortably and then are “immersed” in the sounds, vibrations and harmonics of the instruments. Gongs, Himalayan bowls, crystal singing bowls, tuning forks and shamanic percussion instruments are played in a clinically tested, therapeutic sequence to maximize benefits. No previous knowledge or experience is required. Sound is a very accessible form of meditation where benefits are usually experienced right after the first session. As my teacher likes to say, “simply lay down and bathe in the sound.”
