T﻿ickets for Soul Stroll have closed. If you wish to attend the event, please bring your payment of $30 + 2.64 (processing fees) in the form of a check or credit card to the event location at San Mateo Hight School. We can register you on site. On May 19, our VIP reception kicks off the weekend with special guests, an ambassador meet and greet, plus drinks and nibbles.May 20th’s main event, Soul Stroll Outside, is treasured as a fun, family, friendly event encouraging community members to safely engage in physical activities, including walking, running, and biking, with a resource marketplace of nonprofit organizations, businesses, volunteer and government groups all focused on health and wellness. Masks will be encouraged!The “Movement is Resistance” theme is demonstrative of resisting health disparities among communities of color and it reinforces the scientifically proven fact that movement helps improve general health, maintain healthy weight, lower cholesterol, reduces depression, and helps in the prevention of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and some forms of cancer.Soul Stroll is a 1, 3, 5 Mile Run/Walk. The Soul Stroll health fair includes over 30 resources and corporate partners providing products, screenings and information. Your ticket gives you access to the main event, a light breakfast, professionally led warm-up sessions, free health screenings, a healthy lunch, children&#x27;s activities and the coveted Soul Stroll t-shirt!Your support helps us to continue providing &quot;free&quot; critical health and wellness education, health screenings and advocacy to underserved communities. Volunteer roles are available for sign-up through Friday, May 19, 2023.
