SOS CHOCÓ, VOLUME 2A night of art, music, community, and collective action.Join us for SOS CHOCÓ, Volume 2, a community relief effort bringing together artists, cultural workers, and our community in solidarity with the people of Chocó, Colombia, during the aftermath of the 7.4 earthquake.Featuring live performances by Madame Vacile, AgentDMZ, and Mai-Elka Prado, plus an Art Market curated by Karena Bravo, an Open Mic, and additional performances throughout the evening.This gathering is an opportunity to share our talents, accompany one another, and turn our collective energy into meaningful action. Your donations will be shared with Casa Cultural Contaduría in Colombia for the continued support of Black trans women, as well as broader community relief and support efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake.SOS CHOCÓ, Volume 2 is a relief effort organized by Afro-Latino Festival, Madame Vacile, and Mai-Elka Prado, with the support of organizations and community partners including Afroresistance, Afrolatin@ Forum, and Palenque Restaurant.Nos vemos el viernes para compartir nuestros talentos, acompañarnos y encontrarle la vuelta positiva a esta situación.Acompáñanos.
