About this event

SORIN is seeking talented individuals with a successful career and the ability to present compelling presentations. The presentations will be recorded and made available to students and educators. We want to inspire the next generation to pursue careers or start businesses in STEAM, CTE, Finance, or Entrepreneurship.

Organized by

Hello potential presenter,

My name is Dave Tribbett, I am the president and CEO of the “Southern Oregon Research and Innovation Network” (SORIN). Our goal is to develop a community of innovators who can create new paths for economic prosperity in the Rogue Valley.

Our community has a large population of incredibly talented active retirees who love to find ways to give back and add value to the next generation. You have an amazing wealth of knowledge and experience.

To pursue their full potential, current and future generations need your help! We are seeking individuals with a background in STEM, Career and Technical, finance and entrepreneurship who would be willing to share some of their knowledge and wisdom.

Sharing will be accomplished via video recording, perhaps 90 minutes or less. Presentations will be recorded in a safe, private space to ensure the comfort of the participants and to insure the quality of the video. The video recording will be edited into 15 minute video sessions to be published on SORIN print and digital platforms and outlets.

These educational offerings will be critical to the overall success of the full cycle solution that SORIN and the SORIN Innovation Center will offer. We will have support for innovative companies and tech startups in the Rogue Valley and Southern Oregon region. SORIN is building an educational coalition regionally and nationally as well as working to obtain international connections. Lastly, and by no means least, is the retention and placement of highly skilled talent that will add value to local businesses and our community.

The future is bright, and the individuals that will build, facilitate and support SORIN by sharing their experience and learned knowledge will be of massive importance to the success of future generations,

will be of massive importance to the success of future generations,
