Overview

Unlock the full potential of the Sony FX30 in this hands-on workshop designed for filmmakers, documentary shooters, and content creators.

Join filmmaker Jaiziel Hernández Máynez for a REALLY SPECIAL workshop, designed for folks who have a Sony FX30, a similar Sony cam, ✨or would like to learn how to use one to rent out LFS's Sony FX30 to shoot local projects!✨

🎥MORE ABOUT THE WORKSHOP!

  • This course focuses on understanding the Sony FX30 camera beyond its basic functions, exploring how to shape image, color, and texture to achieve cinematic results in real-world environments.
  • Participants will explore color science, gamma options, codecs, and recording formats, learning how to make confident decisions in fast-moving documentary situations and flexible shooting setups. The workshop also covers lens selection, filters, and practical techniques to create strong, polished images directly in-camera.
  • From capture to final delivery, the process continues in DaVinci Resolve, where you'll learn how to quickly transform your footage into compelling visuals for multiple platforms—from mobile and web to large-screen presentations—while also developing more refined color grading approaches for projects that demand a higher-end finish.
