Chopin Theatre Productions is a 501(c)3  art presenter and producer at the historic Chopin Theatre building, 1543 W. Division St., in Chicago.  Our programming includes theater. literary, music, film and social events that are often avante garde or  international. Special performance and talk with internationally renowned theatre director Thomas Richards – apprentice of world-renowned Polish theatre master Jerzy Grotowski!Thomas Richards (US), former Artistic Director of the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards - assisted by Jessica Losilla-Hébrail (France) and Hyun Ju Baek (South Korea) - will hold talk and special performance event that will carry us towards a deep understanding and experiencing of their work on ancient songs of traditions.



The project will expose us to their powerful and moving work on voice; a practice based on a work on songs coming mainly from Afro-Caribbean and African traditions which has been at the heart of the Workcenter&#x27;s research for more than 35 years.
